San Francisco Evangelical Free Church 2024 Day Camp

San Francisco Evangelical Free Church (SFEFC) will have our 2024 Summer Day Camp at our church location (in-person only).

The 2024 Day Camp Camper Application form will be used to REGISTER your children. If you are currently REGISTERING more than one child, please enter all of the information into this form.

THEME: “The Great Jungle Journey”

WHO: Children entering 1st to 8th grade in August 2024
WHERE:

756 Union St. (between Mason and Powell)

WHEN: June 17 to July 26, 2024
There will be no Day Camp on 6/19 & 7/4, in observance of Juneteenth & National Independence Day, respectively.

HOURS:
Drop-off starts at 8:15 AM
9 AM – 3 PM

EXTENDED CARE HOURS:
Extended Care – 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

COST:
$600 (regular income); $300 (low-income)
An additional $120 fee will be applied for Extended Care.

WHAT WE DO:
Each day will consist of various fun and engaging activities for students.

Please complete the registration form and pay the required fees within two weeks after the registration date.

*Note: Payments are non-refundable.

2024 Summer Day Camp - Counselor Application

SFEFC 2024 Day Camp – Counselor Application

Welcome! San Francisco Evangelical Free Church (SFEFC) will be hosting our 2024 Summer Day Camp at our church location (in-person only). As a counselor, you will be expected to supervise, mentor children, and teens. You are also expected to plan and execute activities to keep the children engaged and excited.

Who: People who are at least entering high school and are interested in leading and working with kids.

Date: 6/17/2022 to 7/26/2022 (6 weeks)

There will be no Day Camp on 6/19 & 7/4, in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day and Independence Day, respectively.

Application Due Date: April 14, 2024

Camp Schedule:
Doors open: 8:15 AM.
In-person: 9 AM – 3 PM
Extended Care: 3 PM – 5 PM
Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 5 PM

Please arrive promptly at 8:30 AM for the MANDATORY Morning Meeting.

You are also expected to stay behind 3 PM for the Closing Meetings.

Interviews:
Prospective counselors’ applications will be reviewed and scheduled in-person interviews along with Zoom. Specific times and dates will be sent at a later date. Interviews will evaluate applicants’ abilities and enthusiasm. We will contact you if you have been accepted.

Training:
Dates: Saturdays on May 4 & 18, June 1 & 8; Weekday on June 11 & 13; Sunday, June 16. (tentative dates)

Training is MANDATORY for all counselors. We will contact you for further details of the training.

This year’s theme will be “The Great Jungle Journey”.
